Japan trip 2012 - day 16 ~ in Nagano-ken

Aug 23, 2012 02:51

It's already been a week since we came back from Nagano and finally, I can find the time to update my LJ~ o/
We'll go to Sexy Zone SUMMARY on Friday so let's start with some memories from Nagano before I get too late with writing about our trip x)

After packing our luggage on Thursday morning, we went to Shibuya/Harajuku/Shinjuku to look for Sexy Zone SUMMARY tickets but they only had "bad" seats that were way too expensive so we gave up and headed to Shinjuku station to catch our bus. When we arrived in Shinjuku, we weren't that late yet but problem n°1: Shinjuku station is big. I mean really big.
So there we were at the West exit, looking for the new South exit. We asked a man inside the station, a man working in the post office ("Oh, you have only 10 minutes left!" "YEAH I KNOW" D: ), two men on the street and after running all over the place, maybe less than 5 minutes before departure, we finally found the bus!
We were very hungry since we hadn't eaten anything yet and we didn't have the time to buy food but we spent the ~3hours bus ride sleeping (I use to hate bus travels but Japanese buses are so wide that it was completely ok!) so it didn't really matter in the end.

We were supposed to meet the Takahashi family in Saku city but problem n°2: there were many stops in Saku city and we had no idea of when we were supposed to leave the bus. We got off at the 1st stop but we looked very much confused so the driver kindly checked his passengers list and it was written that we had to leave at the next station but problem n°3: Takahashi family wasn't there. We thought they may be late so we waited until the sky suddenly got very dark with huge lightnings striking the sky which was when we finally decided that we should maybe call them and actually, they were waiting for us at the next bus stop >.>
Fortunately, it wasn't far away from where we were and a few minutes later, the Takahashi couple and Takahashi's wife co-worker came to pick us up under a heavy rain.

The five of us went to the supermarket first and after that, we headed to their beautiful Japanese style home. I was already amazed by the house since I love Japanese style stuff but the best was yet to come with the absolutely delicious dinner we had with all the family (we met the grandmother who was adorable ♥) and after having spent 15 days in a very small room that can barely fit our futon, mostly eating combini food, it was like paradise for us and we knew we were about to spend lovely days in Nagano-ken with very nice people ♥
