[ ooc: Backdated to the 31st, during noon. ]

For those who may have known him, Niko has returned home. [ Alf sounds fairly accepting of the fact, mostly because he's had time to sort out his thoughts. ] He has for a while, actually. I apologize for not sharing the news earlier.

[ With that, he changes the topic. ]The year will come to an end, ( Read more... )

It sure feels like it when we're not paying attention.

[Four months here. Man.]

You as well, Kouki? You're right, we seem to have forgotten all about the time because of everything that's happened.

Yeah. It's quite easy to lose track of time when things get hectic around here.

Which happens every so often. It's funny how time plays with our minds -- the more we're conscious of it, the slower it appears to progress. And the opposite holds true for the both of us, here.

The opposite. I feel like I've been here forever.

I imagine it varies with every person. Have you been here long?

Much longer than I'd like, but perhaps not as long as some others. I think it just feels like forever because it's been a while since I've been stuck in the same place for more than a couple weeks.

You must've traveled a lot before you were brought here. That, and Luceti is rather small in terms of how far we can go.

Well...actually, it feels more like forever to me.

Ah, another opposite. If I may, why would you say it feels like forever?

Well, I used to move around quite a lot back home. Always on the road somewhere, doing something- stuff like that. So to have so little to do here most of the time...it's a little boring.

Interesting; that was the exact problem another individual had. A lot of us sound to be travelers of some sort, doesn't it? It would make settling down a difficult task.

I'm still waiting for myself to wake up.

I thought I was dreaming when I first arrived. It still feels like I am, at times.

Waking up would be the equivalent of being returned, yes?

I guess so, I don't know. This seems too involved to be a dream but. I dunno. I've had some crazy dreams.

Dreams as crazy as Luceti and its happenings?

It's been far too long.

hakoiri January 1 2011, 21:33:28 UTC
Far too long, eh? Is it because of everything that's happened?

More like what hasn't happened.

Did you have something specific in mind?
