Hi Guys,

I just found this community and it makes me happy to see that other people like this pairing too. I've just started incorporating it into my own fics and I was wondering if anyone else has tackled a few of the topics I'm trying to work in to their relationship (right now, they're too busy dancing around each other *sigh*):

First off, woo-hoo! Another Hakkai/Yaone fan! Awesome.

1.) no idea, sorry, but pzb's estimate sounds right to me.

1a) I'd say no. I mean, since those are the two major spots of angst for those characters. I can see if they both realized it and then just had a moment were they both go, 'I know' and nodd at each other. But it would still be very sad.

2.) If they were in danger of imminant death, yes. Hakkai would be incredibly angsty and nervous about Yaone seeing him like that, and in my fanon, Yaone would be like, 'huh. That's kinda scary and hot' and very matter of fact about it.

3.) In my head Hakuryu and Yaone get along great, and he's always twining about her neck for pets and snuggles, but having him be a little jealous first would be cute.

Thanks, I'm glad to be here. I'm actually a 53 writer by trade, but 8Y was one of the first pairings I ever "saw" in the show and I think that Hakkai deserves to be happy too. They're unfortunately going to be a secondary pairing in my series, but by no means ignored. I just thought before I got into any of the real heavy stuff, I'd get my research done.

I might not have to worry about Youkai!Hakkai in this story I'm currently working on now, as I already have a million and one things going on and I think it'd be overkill, but I definitely agree with Yaone-chan -- Youkai-version is hot. *.*

And as always, much love for Hakuryu. ((kyuu!)) ^^

Hakkai should be happy. And Yaone needs someone who would appreciate how wonderful she is. I was hook as soon as I saw them in 'perfect assassin.'

What series are they the secondary pairing in? I'm not a big slash fan, but I will read slash if they're some het in there to balance it out.

Youkai!Hakkai is hot. And Hakuryu is win.

Here is my FFN profile for my stories I've been working on lately. (Haven't been able to update in a while due to school and general exhaustion.)

As it stands right now in my stories, they both like each other but have not told each other (even though pretty much everyone around them knows as well). A good Hakkai-centric one is "Mediator," which is told through his POV, but it only makes slight hints towards 8Y in a flashback.

I can't wait for summer so I can finally develop their relationship. -_-;;

Please keep me updated on when I can expect more Hakkai x Yaone. I understand about waiting until summer - I can't wait to have some more time to write.
