I volunteer to do work for her (for 10/hr), and she gives me any sort of experience I could ever use. Host/server, yardwork ("gardening" incl...), techie, data entry, "move my heavy objects" guy.
She also KNOWS PEOPLE. So she's like, "Yeah, we'll walk down there, I'll tell him to hire you." Chances are it won't be 10/hr (or 25/hr like the response I just got to my resume), but if it's close... and effective... and probably fun. Hell yeeeeeeah.
