New York Giants Win The 2012 NFL Super Bowl XLVI

With less than 2 minutes left in the game, the New York Giants were able to score against the New England Patriots, in this very tight & very close game. The New England Patriots tried to make a comeback down to the very last second of the game, but the time clock just ran out for them. The final score was New York Giants-21, New England Patriots-17. (2012 also marks as the 46th anniversary of one of the all time, most popular, annual championship sports game in America.)

And of course, controversy also quickly followed the half time show, when the singer, Madonna & her friends were hired to perform in the half time concert. During the half time show, one of the singers, M.I.A., gave the middle finger, swore onstage, and made sexually explicit moves, while dancing. (Madonna also boldly flashed her underwear openly a number of times, during the concert.) While it's likely that the NFL may have to deal with the controversy with the FCC, the simple lesson here is that you simply can't expect a family friendly show, whenever you hire Madonna. (It's just not going to happen.)
