Not dead
Just extremely busy. Two jobs takes a lot out of a person, even if I love them both. I'm definitely working full-time if I combine hours from both jobs, and while it's a lot easier to wake up early when you do it every day, I'm still mostly interested in food and bed when I get home. Definitely not spending as much time on entertainment, including computer, tv, and gaming. It really makes me appreciate my days off. I'm spoiled this week, had Sunday off, Tuesday off, and now Thursday off, from both jobs. Rare occurrence, probably not gonna happen again for a while.
So, Thanksgiving. I am thankful for:
- my family and friends. Even those I don't talk to anymore, or not for a long time.
- my jobs. Both let me work with awesome people and animals, and not many people can say that they truly enjoy their jobs. I can, with conviction.
- technology. Nuff said.
