Upsides of this episode:
+ The villain being a manipulative narcissistic asshole who's good at his job
+ Complete with the "I will punish you by physical injury, then heal you to show how nice I am and what you have to gain from working with me" routine
+ And flat-out admitting to taking advantage of a suicidally depressed person in a way that closely resembles their target's (person who got stabbed and healed's) romantic relationship
+ Also all things Dwight in this ep, and specifically the return of his over-identification with Duke and that last scene (see: good villain is good as a villain, and would totally give people the best gifts)
Downsides:
- The Howard and Vince line, complete with the racist shittery, and failing to acknowledge slavery and dehumanization as such even without that context
- Just because Audrey didn't get to be her usual horrible-person self doesn't mean she wasn't both boring and stupid
Better not fuck up next week, Show.
