It occurs to me that in the otherwise 100% gendered Hebrew, the one non-gendered word which can be used for anyone regardless of gender or lack thereof, is sweetie.
AKA the word that you can use for your spouse, your best friend, your dog, that coworker you don't even like, any random person on the street.
Ladies, gentlemen and distinguished guests: Israel.
