* Somebody in Gaza got smart and focused fire on mortars instead of mid-range rockets. Results: we have several dozen injured and a few dead. I honestly lost count - I think only one or two killed after the four-year-old?
* A ceasefire supposedly kicked in a little over an hour ago. That "supposedly" is a fish: mortar fire is still ongoing.
* Apparently the Bank side of Palestinian leadership have been putting the failure of the negotiations on Turkey. (Anybody surprised? Like the rest of the world, it's not like Erdogan cares about the Palestinians: he just figured an antisemitic gambit would win him the presidential elections.)
* Recruiting and keeping Tzipi Livni is turning out to be the smartest thing Netanyahu has done. (Her latest.) There is something seriously wrong with this situation.
