Chapter 3
This must be petty Jealousy
“We’re here.” Jung Yunho had a large smile on his face as he parked the car in front of a quaint bakery. The large window provided a glimpse of the inside, while the potted plants and flowers outside gave it a rustic feel. Jaejoong couldn’t help but grow excited.
“What are we going to do here hyung?” He was in a hurry to enter the said bakery. As they stepped out of the car, Yunho took his hand in his. Jaejoong did not even notice this because of his anticipation.
“I’m signing you up for baking lessons.” Yunho chuckled at the boy’s eagerness. Changmin never acted like such when he was a kid. His brother was too serious for his own good at times. Jaejoong was quite a breath of fresh air for him.
As they entered the bakery, Jaejoong’s eyes widened in excitement as various sweets and cakes came to view on every corner. Yunho let go of his hand to allow the boy to explore, afterwards, he made his way to the counter; ringing a small bell that sat on top of it.
Jaejoong, upon hearing the bell, looked up. He saw Yunho’s smile at its widest as a woman entered the room.
She was very pretty, Jaejoong thought. Her brown hair gently framed her angelic face. He could tell that she was a baker because of the apron draped around her dress.
“Yunho? What a pleasant surprise.” She too, had a wide smile like Yunho’s. Jaejoong couldn’t help but stare at the girl. It was the first time he had seen someone so beautiful. The girl’s at his college were nothing compared to this woman.
“Good Afternoon Seul Gi-ah.” Yunho greeted as he awkwardly extended a hand towards Seul Gi. The girl giggled at the action, but shook the hand nonetheless.
Jaejoong raised a brow towards the man. Yunho was just too formal for his own good. And who was this “Seul Gi” to him? Since Changmin rarely talked about Yunho, he couldn’t help but grow curious.
“Did you want something?” She started taking off her apron, therefore revealing her whole dress. It was a strapless floral dress that reached just above the knee, showing just the right amount of leg.
Jaejoong grinned at the sight of Seul Gi’s legs which were just his height. Even if he was in a little kid’s body, his hormone’s were still intact. Being a kid actually had its perks!
Before he could ogle longer, he felt a pinch on his shoulder. Looking up, he saw Yunho smiling at him with a threatening expression on his face. He had caught Jaejoong staring.
“Sorry hyung.” He mouthed in embarrassment. Not wanting Yunho to think that he was too perverted for his age, he decided to shift all his attention to his shoes.
“Who is this little guy?”
Jaejoong raised his head after hearing Seul Gi acknowledge him. As he did this, he came face to face with the girl, who was kneeling to his short height.
For a moment, he had to catch his breath.
“This woman…she really is pretty.”
Before he knew it, his face was already tomato red in embarrassment.
“Aigoo! He’s so cute!” She started pinching Jaejoong’s cheek, much to the said boy’s irritation. He hated it when people touched his face. He liked keeping his face clean, thank you very much. But he might have to get used to it-people liked doing such a thing to kids!
“His name is Hero.” Yunho ruffled his hair, mimicking what he did to Changmin earlier. “He’s the cousin of my brother’s friend.”
“You’re babysitting for him?” Seul Gi couldn’t hide the amusement in her voice as she stood uo. “I’m actually quite surprised. This is the first time I’ve seen you with a kid.”
“I can actually have a life other than work, believe it or not.” Yunho gave an awkward laugh. Jaejoong could sense that the air had become quite tense for a moment there.
He was glad when Seul Gi spoke up again. “So, what can I do for you guys?”
“I’m thinking of signing him up for your baking lessons. Is it too late to sign him up?”
“Not at all.” She smiled at Jaejoong .
Once again, the boy blushed. But he was actually cursing inside his head. He had never blushed because of a girl. He had been used to girls swooning over him. He caused girls to blush, not the other way around!
“Damn hormones.” He whispered to himself. He was glad the two adults were too busy chatting for them to hear.

“Ow!” Jaejoong cried out after Changmin injected-punctured actually, from Jaejoong’s point of view-something from Jaejoong’s arm. He had always hated shots. It not only hurt, but it also felt weird.
“You’re not even a medical student yet you know how to take shots.” Jaejoong grumbled as he rubbed the spot where Changmin had injected.
“I’ve always wanted to go into Medicine Jae. That’s why I experiment.” Changmin gave his friend a small smile. He always considered the topic of his college course a sensitive one. After all, he was forced to take up Business Administration so he could be prepared to take over their various empires. “Anyway, how did the thing with hyung go?”
Jaejoong wanted to probe further about Changmin’s sudden sombre mood, but he could tell that he hit a sensitive spot. Not wanting to make things awkward, he decided to drop it. “We went to a bakery.”
“Oh.” The other boy’s eye lit up. This did not go unnoticed by Jaejoong.
“Did I say something wrong?”
His friend chuckled. Now Jae was more confused than ever.
“What’s so funny?”
Changmin grinned as he peeked into a microscope that he had been preparing.
“I guess hyung still has the hots for Seul Gi-noona even after she broke his heart.”
