Quinn had been at cheer camp for about two weeks now and most of the counselors there didn't want to deal with her. Especially the female ones. One because she could be pretty bitchy and felt like she could get away with everything and that was mostly because her dad gave large amounts of money as donations for the camp. No one would discipline her ( Read more... )

Unlike the other counselors, Puck didn't know a thing about cheerleading, other than the fact that back in high school he found the majority of the cheerleaders hot. But Puck was a high school football coach now. The cheerleading coach at the same school he worked at told him one of the counselors for the summer cheer camp had got into a car accident. She was currently in hospital and unable to be a counselor after all, which meant they were desperate to find a replacement at short notice. That was where Puck came in. Apparently he didn't need to know anything about cheerleading since there were other counselors who could take charge of the camp activities that were cheer-related. His job was to be responsible for the general well being of each camper.

Quinn's eyes snapped up when her nail file was taken away and she gave him a less than pleased look. She glanced away from him rolling her eyes when he told her to listen. Like that would work. And then she started to laugh a bit. "Seriously? You should care. I know you're the football coach at your school or whatever, but I'm definitely not some football player you can boss around, you'll learn that soon enough Coach Puckerman." His name was said with complete annoyance.

"So, I think we're done here and I have more important things to do than talk to you," she got up and stood, straightening her skirt.

"Sit your ass down." Obviously his approach to treating her like one of the football players on his team wasn't working, so he decided to try a different angle, softening his voice. "I'm not here to lecture you, okay? Just hear me out. Please." All he wanted to do was help her and offer her some advice because she had so much potential to be great.

She raised an eyebrow at him when he said please. She had heard he was such a hard ass and here he was saying please. Slowly, she lowered herself back down into the chair, crossing her legs again. "Fine, just don't let it take long. I have things to do," clearing her throat, she finally paid attention to him.
