I now officially own 1 (one) ferry ticket to Incheon, South Korea.  Incheon is not Seoul.  We will have to find a way from Incheon to Seoul, but that's ok.  Because Amanda and I are going to South Korea.  September 27!

Yesterday I only had one class, but I slept through it because my alarm is stupid and the wrong button was pressed.  And then I had a whole buttload of problems dumped on me.  First my electricity went off, which happens a lot to everyone.  But this time they made me pay 60 yuan (about $8.00) to turn it back on, which is the first time they've ever done that.  Apparently the China/Japan trip has their electricity covered, but not us long-term students?  If I have to pay 60 yuan every week or two, that will add up to a lot of money that I don't have.  Then I left my keycard in my room twice, so I had to have them get that for me.  I twice had to call Mr. Jiang, the international director here, to help me out with the electricity issue.  Then a maid came in my room and dumped some sheets on my bed and told me the maids don't change the sheets in our rooms, they just give them to us for us to change.

Today the weather is beautiful: blue cloudless skies, a warm sun, a cool breeze, and since it rained two days ago all the pollution and smog seems to have disappeared!  A rare day in a city not know for fantastic weather.  Today will be a good day.
