My electricity costs 60 yuan

I'm stealing my friend Austin's idea.  He does a daily blog with a little blurb about something that interests him, and adds a picture or two.  I figure this'll be nice for family especially, who are always wondering what I'm up to.  Friends too.

On Saturday night Nick, Mat, and I were walking around Wudaokou, which is the club/bar/karaoke/bookstore/neon/korean/college part of Beijing.  It's pretty nice, has some clean skyscrapers too.  9 pm, we're walking, we see a place called "Cafe Lion King", think "Hey, this sounds like a fun place to have a coffee".  We get in and are ushered into our own room with a booth, disco light, and TV.  That's not a cafe.  Can anyone say Karaoke?  3 guys badly singing songs on a Saturday night, hooray.  And on accident, too.

Mat and Nick.  Why is Nick Devlin in Asia?  I don't know.
