Mune-kyun Ren-kun!
I just watched Nagase Ren (Johnny's Jr.) on Sukatto Japan's Mune-kyun Sukatto video, and it was so good! It got me smiling (and squealing) really badly just now. Recently, they've been doing "adult" ones where there's an age gap between the characters and this time Ren-kun was a student at a beauty school and falls in love with his teacher.
It was really cute, especially in the end where, SPOILER, they open a salon together and get married. I especially loved the parts when he teased her at the start since it was really similar to Ren as we know him, but then he was also really serious and looked so sad when she turned him down. Then when he comes back from disappearing from her classes for 2 years (wearing a really stylish hat) and does her hair and makeup. It was just really cute!
Ren really suits being stylist, it looked so natural when he was cutting hair and doing makeup (putting lip gloss!!). It reminded me of Toma-kun (former Kansai jr. Kaneuchi Toma), who's working hard even now as an assistant hairdresser to follow his dream. I wish he could have done this role, as much as it did suit Ren. One day it would be nice to see him on tv again, doing what he loves.
