Once a month (mostly) without fail
Things are mostly settling down around here - the house is fast approaching the finish point (and about bloody time all our friends will say) and work is mostly under control (just in time for report cards!)
We had Megan and Travis home this last weekend and Jesse will be home at the end of next week for Reading Break. It is always wonderful to get to visit with them. I miss them dreadfully, but really enjoy hearing about their adventures with school, housing and all.
We (Doug and I) are off to Victoria on the 17th to face paint at Penny's school fair and bring some more furniture over to the kids (at some point Vancouver Island will be too weighed down by all the stuff and the whole province will tip) - we'll get to have a visit with Penny, Sue and Emily and see Meg and Trav's new place.
I have asked Peta for art and so, am compelled to post the following:
The first five people to respond to this post will get some form of art, by me. I make no guarantees about quality, type, or timely delivery but I will assure that I will give it a good effort. The only catch, of course; as with most memes, if you sign up, you have to put this in your own journal as well.
If you don't have a journal (what's wrong with you - the rest of my family does?) then you are exempt from this catch - I'll still come up with some sort of art and I promise it won't be a stick bird or blob cat.
