帰ってきったんだ！:)
oh my goodness it has been ages since i last blogged! the HOLS just started when i last blogged. but now.. SCH has already started for 3 weeks! =.= the good ol' hols just flew past! my last sch hols ever! how sad is that:( but anyway, since it has been so long since i've blogged, this is gonna be a long post so please bear with moi...
first things first. i went to Malacca for mission trip! with steph and others from the ceegee. although it was just a short trip but i learnt alot and it has indeed brought me on a closer walk with God. Thank God for the great weather that we had and also things managed to work out just fine! There were some unexpected turn of events but i am glad that i managed to pull through. but with God's strength of course :)
Crossed over to the year 2010 with a sleepover at jo's house together with sammie!:) Looking back on 2009, i really do have alot to be thankful for. 2009 has indeed been such an amazing year for me full of ups and downs with exchange and everything. In fact, I would go as far as to say that 2009 was like an important milestone of my life because i could feel myself maturing both mentally and spiritually. and of course, physically as well. since it's the year that i turn 21! *ageing alert!* So many significant events in 2009 as well. Exchange, first mission trip, i got my driving license, etc etc! It seems hard that 2010 will be even more fantastic as 2009 but i'm sure it'll be a wonderful year as well! cant wait for work and travel in the US and then... *prays hard that i can get myself employed* ><
And then last week, i went to phiphi islands with JJ! It was soooo beautiful! i'm glad we chose to go there instead of phuket. We went island hopping to visit the different islands around phiphi and snorkelled at different spots. The water was so clear and prettyyyy ahhh <3 It was my first time snorkelling so i was pretty excited! And then, i saw this really huge fish which looks like a stingray (but not the usual flat kind) which had a really longggg tail! It was just below me and i kinda freaked out cos it was so close! >< And then we went to maya bay, which is where leonardo dicaprio filmed the movie The Beach. woots! It was such a pretty place <3 however, we had to pay to enter the beach officially so... being the cheopo that i was... we resorted to going by the precarious way instead. we took the boat to the other side of the island and sneaked in. but it wasnt easy! we had to swim and then climb this ladder thing and cross some creek AND THEN walk through the forest before we could reach the beach! *pants* jj say she feels like tarzan n jane cos we did everything barefoot xD but i felt like i was in survivor! hahaha. saw a chicken and snake on the way ><
so yepp. that's basically 1 month plus of my life summed up in one short entry! xD on a sidenote, my skin is freaking peeling now! urgh! got sunburnt in phiphi cos i left my sunblock in the hotel room. fml. wanted to go swimming today but decided against it cos i think its better to wait till my skin is in a better condition =/
