Except for the one or two times when I'd thought ahead and taken the day off, this is the first time in a long time that I haven't had to work on Black Friday. Fortunately I've never had to be there in the morning for the stupid 6am opening time. That'd be the day. I mean, I can see people lining up early outside of Best Buy or Macy's or even Walmart on Black Friday morning even though I would never do such a thing, but CVS? Maybe to buy some antacids because they over-indulged the day before, but the "special" items they offer for OMGONEDAYONLY! aren't that great. I mean some of the stuff is alright, but not anything that's going to cause a mad rush at that hour of the morning. Even though I never had to put up with that, it's just nice to have the day after the holiday off...even if it's because you inadvisedly quit your job in a shitty economy and can't find another one. Whoops.
