Please don't get uppity when others are surprised by this. It is a little odd. If you met me for the first time and you asked if I'd read a book you'd read only to be met by:

I don't get uppity when people are surprised. However, I do get irritated when people ask, "What on earth do you do with your time, then?".

Oh yes, 2 was my favourite as well, although I think I could make a good case for 3 based on "A Pirate I Was Meant To Be" alone.
