It was probably the most tragic day of all this year, and the worst for some people.
I have never witnessed a silence like I did today, it was eerie.
The impact of Meryl's passing was too sad for words, seeing all my friends sad made me more sad than I already was.
Everywhere there was someone crying, there were two or more people hugging them and crying with them.
Watching people write "WE <3 YOU MERYL" & "WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL" on the basketball court made me sadder than ever.
It was like something that came out of a book. The silence exiting the pavilion, and the leaves going in circles with the wind, and the dark clouds, and more silence and tears.
I had 2 or 3 conversations with Meryl so it's too bad I never got as close to her as some other people did, but I know how much she was loved and how much she will be missed.
I almost feel the worst for Dana, because I know I would be dying inside if something bad happened to my brother.
Rest In Peace, Meryl
My friend Lawrence said this: "She may appear to have left this world, but so long as her memory remains among her friends, she will never die"
