The shows went real well!
So Friday, I couldn't make the game, sorry everyone. Went to Andrew's waited about two hours for everyone to show up, and we practiced before I had to go to work.
Singing "Seven Years(Acoustic)" in the car with Andrew and Nitin has to be the one of the most memorable moments hahaha that was so great!!!
Saturday mornin' - Pascal dropped me off at Robek's, came in with me to say hi to the band guys, Nitin, Logan, and Dhruv. I went with Nitin back to Andrew's and we practiced like alll day. Fun stuff, a little exhausting.
So we made some changes and did our set list for the Cobalt show.
Nitin dropped me at Robek's for my mom and brother to pick me up, went to Sav-Ons or somethin and then to the house where I showered and got ready for the show.
Headed over to the Cobalt and waited. We got 10 extra minutes to play cause the 9:00 pm band cancelled, and we needed that extra ten so people would be there.
A lot more people than I expected showed up, and I thank everyone of you. Well the show went real well and I had lot's and lot's of fuuuun.
We had to head over to VP right away though to play for the fashion show, so I took a ride with Dhruv, which was nice, talked about good stuff and music.
When we got to VP we got told we had 40 extra minutes when we thought we were already late enough to start which was good. But then we got told we had to set up as fast as we could, it was not cool. and Logan couldn't use his keyboard maaaaaan!!!
The curtains opened and we didn't even have time to test sounds but we were aaaalll good it was soo much fun cause there was a lot of room to move unlike the Cobalt where Dhruv and I were confined. So we opened with Treetop and after that played Happy Song.. good stuff.
After we played we all hung out a little, and talked to my brother of how we could get big.
Dhruv drove me to Cheesecake Factory where we met with Ian(Mysterious Bob's ex bass player) Andrew(Guitar) Nitin(Drums) and four cutie pies haha it was a nice dinner and I was surprised to find out that most people there did not know what sliders were... GEESH! They are the mini-burgers and they are in Harold & Kumar!
Slept at Andrew's after that, played Halo and stuff, skateboarded down his street.
Rest of the weekend was good, this week has been eeh, I need someone to take me out of this place for a while to get my mind off all the annoying things around, it's all gettin to me and geee I don't wanna be here right now.
