Yay! The party is tonight! I hope that everyone comes and has a ton of fun. It's too bad that the weather isn't prettier outside, but maybe it'll clear up enough to be starry tonight.
I know it's a little early, but my birthday is in about two weeks (September 3rd) and I was thinking it'd be nice to have a small get together at my apartment. Nothing big or fancy, maybe a movie and dinner and some Trivial Pursuit or Clue! Or if any of you play an instrument, you could bring it and we could have a mini jam session and totally rock out and wouldn't that be awesome?! Anyway, if you'd like to come just let me know!

I remember when you would throw birthday parties for me, and it was just the two of us. I loved it because I knew I had your undivided attention. I haven't done anything on my birthday for so long since you died, but I thought maybe this year I would share it with my friends. I know you won't mind.
Even though you're not here physically, I wish I could still talk to you and get advice about my life. Sometimes I just don't know what I'm doing. I wish I could ask you about the boys I know, 'cause you're a boy and would know what they were thinking maybe, since sometimes I just don't understand them at all. Maybe you could help me figure out if I'm seeing things that aren't there.
