Star Trek: The Best Reboot Evah!
If you haven't seen the new Star Trek movie, don't read this. GO watch it! Now, like right now. You will not be disappointed. Unless you love William Shatner. If that's the case, poor you.
Alright. I was a little apprehensive. Star Trek Enterprise didn't do so good even with it's two seasons. I thought Star Trek wouldn't be making a big come back like Star Wars, but I believe J.J. Abrams has done it. An actual remake/reboot that works.
I was beginning to get real disappointed that the remakes and reboots this year were failing spectacularly. Knight Rider was getting cancelled, the only good thing about My Bloody Valentine was the cool killer and the chance to see Jensen on the big screen, and Friday the 13th was just a big in-your-face kill fest. So my hopes for Star Trek weren't very big. My friends and I decided to make the movie our finals week vacation and my Krissy's graduation (let's do something before she has to get a job)thing. So we went, and OMG, it was great.
I pretty much loved the whole cast. Quinto was amazing, even if I can see him almost crack a few times. Pine was the right mix of old Kirk in a new world to make him believable, not to meantion hot. Urban was funny as hell, the man really knew how to deliver his lines and
