Hello everyone.

Welcome to what I imagine will be a post whose order is dictated by the random thoughts that pass through my brain. I have been meaning to post something for quite some time, but let's face it, it hasn't happened.

For a start:

Elementary has been more hit and miss for me this season? I mean, it's definitely still one of my favorite shows but there have been a few things that haven't worked for me (e.g. Joan actually slept with Mycroft, which ehhhh no thanks). But I heard last night's episode was good! It's on my DVR. I just haven't watched yet because of school stuff. I am with you on Sleepy Hollow. I'm here for Abbie and Ichabod and Ichabod v. the 21st century, and also Orlando Jones because he's great. I cannot be bothered with the mythology, which seems to be messy-ish not that I'm paying attention.

Yeah, I have a feeling I'm going to hate it too. I think it's going to be a little while before I wrap my head around it, whatever happens. And not in a good way.

THIS IS WHY I AM SAYING MAX WINTER. Although really, Haffner would have been great if they hadn't PUT HIM ON THE DAMN LIST.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ON THIS SHOW. We had to deal with O'Laughlin's ghost. THEY CAN GIVE ME THIS. (They won't, but whatever.)

It will be! I just need to be a little more coherent so I can think of a really good one. I think I'm going to do this too, but I need to make up the post. This is my alternative to holiday fic, which I am obviously not ever going to be able to finish. Despite past attempts.

OH, so yeah, the Oliver getting arrested by Lance thing ends in the next episode and while his identity is threatened, it's usually not something tedious like that. IDK, if you're at that episode (somewhere around 1x04-05??) then you're at least six episodes away from the show really getting better. It gets better around episode 6/7, but I would say that 1x12-1x14 is where it really hits its stride and S2 has blown S1 away (for me at least). Yeah, it's still a CW show, but it's easily the thing I enjoy watching most every week. It's hitting a lot of the right things for me right now and it's been a great distraction from the weekly blerghfest that is TM.

Okay, I haven't been wild about every single Elementary episode. Some are kind of meh. Most I enjoy. On average, it's still a way more solid show than most other things. I really wasn't a fan of Joan actually sleeping with Mycroft either. I liked it better when they were just friends, but I hate it more because of how they chose to do Sherlock's reaction. At this point, I'm not annoyed enough about it though for it really affect my feelings towards the show in any significant way.

I honestly couldn't tell you if the Sleepy Hollow mythology is consistent or not. People are saying it isn't, but honestly, I'm indifferent.

I would be okay with Max Winter! That would actually be really interesting. If Haffner isn't dead. Show could have given us ANY NUMBER OF THINGS over the years, but they have not. Honestly, at this point the only way I would be even remotely interested was if RJ turned out to be Hightower. Which makes NO SENSE, but y'know.

I didn't finish my holiday fic last year, and I know there's no chance that I write even a half a dozen this December. I may try to finish up things kicking around my brain. We'll see.

It ends in the next episode? INTERESTING. That is promising. It's 1.05. I just, identity-compromising/maybe he will go jail is going to be a thing I find tedious on this show. I'll maybe give it another go then...

OKAY, so I realized I requested tomorrow and should probably give you something to talk about.

I have a few topics in mind!

1) Your ideal resolution for Jane/Lisbon based on where they are at this point (or just ramble on about Jane/Lisbon and why they are awesome)
2) Favorite tropes/things you particularly enjoy reading/watching on TV
3) Talk to me about Persuasion and/or Pride and Prejudice and/or Austen in general

WRT Arrow, his identity being compromised (as far as him going to jail) hasn't come up again since then. 2-3 more people find out, but they were never going to turn him in.

ETA: Sorry for the weird. I'm trying to motivate myself to care about my last final and read over my outline one more time before I go to bed. AT NOON TOMORROW I GET MY LIFE BACK!!! Bless.

Behind on so much TV, Grace. Blergh. So yeah, no more Arrow watching. IDEK.

I have just realized I have like seven Christmas parties/gatherings to go to in the next week and a half. So y'know, not including actual Christmas.

I shall pick a topic, although I'm not actually sure I have an ideal J/L resoltuion, beyond a very generic one.

Also, I did not find this particularly weird. Although, good luck tomorrow! And yay for having your life back!
