So...
Last night, I discovered that I had overdrawn my checking account, so that's an additional $50 in overdraft charges down the drain. My austerity measures last week were all for naught!
Well, instead of moping and thinking of more ways to starve myself and compensate for the money I've blown due to my stupidity, I finally got off my duff and looked around for an on-campus job. I doubt if I'll be able to earn all the money back, but at least I can earn grocery money. Plus, I can get a US Social Security Number!
So far, there's one position that sounds promising and I sent an email inquiring about it. It wasa 9-day-old posting, but it never hurts to ask, right? I also went ahead and applied for an internship with Johnson & Johnson. I'm not an MBA and am pretty sure everyone and his brother wants an internship there, but again, what the heck, right?
It's snowing pretty hard today. I wonder if they'll suspend classes when I'm already in school, LOL.
In other news, Chelsea is in You-Know-Who's Econometrics group. I'm very happy with the groupmates that I have, but can she please stop encroaching on my territory? Hehehe. Just kidding...
