back when I thought I was punk and I got my first taste of ska...
So I really hope the day of the Buffalo game is a day game. Because Skarmy of Darkness will be in Syracuse, playing at funk n waffles. (Good music and waffles, what's not to like?) This is a big deal for me. I remember rocking out to Skarmy as a measly little 8th grader at my first real show at PHS. I got a free patch and put it on my backpack and it stayed there for a very long time.
AAAAHHH SO EXCITED! I pretty much screamed when I saw they were playing Funk n Waffles. It's fantastic. Too bad Honkey Dorey isn't making the trek with them. If it weren't for the football game, I'd come home for the October 19th show in Amherst and then drive back up to Syracuse on Saturday for the funk n Waffles show. But ska + waffles = love. The show is going to fantastic, so the game best be an afternoon one. AAAAAY, SKA is so not dead. Rock on.
