2013: the year in retrospect

Dec 30, 2013 12:28

January
Presents on the surface as a murder mystery/thriller, but that is so not the point.

February
Bright, sunny, and chilly out there-perfect weather for scaring groundhogs (and the forecast says it's going to cloud up later, like the bright sun was laid on specifically for the morning but not the day's weather for real).

March
I seem to have started cutting myself in my sleep.

April
I could hear peepers out in the swamp at the foot of the road tonight.

May
So, a while ago I compiled a list of SCA classes what I had taught.

June
If Sartre is right that "Hell is other people," then New York is a truly infernal place indeed, with the Museum of Natural History on a schoolday morning as one of the lowest circles.

July
On Sunday CPH and family dropped by, while visiting from Calif. for a long week.

August
So I'm going to undertake a pruning of my Friends list.

September
This may be more for the friends who've been through this on their own already, than for the ones who are following my case personally: Did anything strange happen to your sense of taste?

October
Greetings, sports fans, and here's the state of things if anyone's been been wondering.

November
Spent a month or more reading up on the game system for Trail of Cthulhu, by Ken (princeofcairo) Hite and Robin D. (robin_d_laws) Laws (Pelgrane Press).

December
Over the weekend we installed a recumbent bike in the upstairs TV room.
