Daffodils, we have daffodils! It must really be Spring! Also, the mystery patch of grass by the deck (and right next to the daffodils) is lush and green; one wonders if removing the Big Pine is going to have some effect on it going forward

So, your neighbors are building a mansion huh? I hope it's not obscuring the sun or pretty landscape or something...

No great personal inconvenience - it's about a mile away. It's just not as pretty as the woods that used to be there.
