Daffodils, we have daffodils! It must really be Spring! Also, the mystery patch of grass by the deck (and right next to the daffodils) is lush and green; one wonders if removing the Big Pine is going to have some effect on it going forward.
Speaking of "going forward":
- I see ours is not the only basement still pumping out, but at a slower and slower rate, hooray.
- Some early bushes are starting to leaf out; not all, not even most, but some.
- The McMansion going up on Boutwell (what I think of as "The Big House in the Little Woods") is nearing completion. For instance, they now have big brick gate-pillars in place, with electrical conduits sticking out the top, presumably for light fixtures.
- The Mystery Statie still/again not in his driveway. Has he been retired? recalled? been put on day shift after years of spending days at home? If you know, don't tell me - I'd rather have the mystery.
