I want to be a house painter. Or a dog groomer. Or a toilet scrubber. Houses and dogs and toilets are so much easier and less heartbreaking than people....I suppose fulfillment is an issue, eh?

wash a lot of dishes...in ANTARCTICA!!!!!!Can you
believe it? I am just a few hundred miles from the
south pole. I live south of the antarctic circle!
...There is a helicoptor pad and sea ice and mountains
outside my window. I am at McMurdo Station. There
are about 1100 people here.
so proud, so proud. We used to hop the bus to Ocean Beach together to hang out with hippies in woven hats.
