I think I'm actually becoming okay with this.
I think I'm actually becoming okay with being a single mom. Yeah, it is hard... and fairly lonely. Connor's a sweet boy, and loves to cuddle! Sadly, I'm lacking very much in the grown up cuddling department (Takers, anyone?) The only problems I have with the whole situation is really a minor internal conflict about how involved Connor's other grandparents are. I mean, I want them to be involved in Connor's life. They deserve the chance to know their grandson, and he should know them. But, I'm not sure how I feel about inviting them to events like Connor's birthday party... you know? I would feel awkward, since it would be mostly my family there and I can imagine they'd feel awkward too. On the other hand, out of their 6 grandkids they only see Connor's cousin Triniti and Connor... so I feel kind of guilty not inviting them to things... I dunno.
On a totally different note, I'm switching to cloth diapers. They're much cheaper, with not too much more work. Plus, they come in all sorts of cute colors! :-D
