Why oh why Kylara did you choose to sign up for an 8 oclock class? Why?
You're mad I tell you, MAD. Waking up at seven is a relief from high school when I woke up at 5.50 but I am used to waking up at 8 now. I am not cool with this. But luckily it is only 2 days a week.
I had a fun weekend; I spent it all in South Carolina. Kind of. I had to go pick up my dad in almost Spartanburg on Saturday bc his work truck broke down. Not cool bc it was like an hour and a half drive. Then I went to see Elektra with James, James' sister Dayna and her signifigant other Thomas. (I am still not sure if they are dating or /dating/ yet. It is wierd) I very much liked Elektra bc I like ninjas almost as much as I like pirates. Gas-exploding ninjas are so cool. It was better than Daredevil IMHO but I think I thought that bc of the ninjas. if you don't try to fit the 2 movies together, it works alot better. But it was awesome.
On Sunday I went to the church in Lancaster and got to sit with James and Rachel and her manbeau- David. It was many much fun. Then I went to work with Rachel and had a fun bussing tables experience.(Apparently they are so busy on Sundays that they will take anyone who comes with someone who already works there.)Then I went to a council meeting thing and then I went to the Young single Adult family group thing in Lancaster on Sunday night. Then I went back over to James' house and there was much of teh Soul Caliber 2. We also played Mao. (But don't tell David P bc I am not an official mao master)
On Monday I had to go home early early and pick up my dad and drive him back to his truck and then I went to rob's house for a d&d meeting. We are officially switched over to 3.5 edition. (previously we were using 2) I haven't got my character, a human fighter named Morgyn Firemoon(same as before ) completely sorted out yet. I have to buy equipment including armor and weapons and assign my feats. Whatever those are. So if anyone knows some good sites that would help since I don't have a PHB. Anyway of course we didn't get much done and everyone ended up on the couch and there was much of teh nosetag. We also tried to give Avi a wet willy but that didn't work. Anyway, After that I went back to Rachel's house (where I had been staying) and got some pics. They are bootiful and hopefully I will be post them or do that yahoo photo album thing.
Monday night I kidnapped James and stole his Box of X and we went to my house. We then spent a lot of time playing Soul Caliber 2. I wasn't really in the zone. I think there is a stage in this game where you are past simple button mashing(which does work) and you know all the moves and how to do them, but you need more practice to do them as quick as you can while button mashing. I am at that stage. I just need to go faster. You know you're not at your best when you get schooled by your 5 yr bro. Seriously. He did have a 70 percent handicap, then a 50 then a 30 but still. He schooled me. That is the problem with seung Mina. All her attacks don't work at all close range really except the grabs. But if some one gets close enough to attack and you don't get them first, you can't get an attack in edgewise because their attacks don't take as long as yours. I think I am going to learn Taki. I like to specialize when I play games like this, but I feel the need for a close in fighter. I like Taki. Yeah. My 5 yr old brother beat me at a game I have been owning for the past 3 months. Seriously I am good, but he was a button masher. (can you tell I am trying to justify my loss?)
Anyway i had a super interesting convo with James last night at my house then continued on the phone. For those of you who speak the code it involved Grandfather clock making (not the act itself exactly, but what all that would mean) and also exploding clocks. Also eating fruit. I love codes. I was eating a sandwich. It just doesn't work like fruit. But it was a fun yet scary convo. yep. The cup is twice as big as it needs to be. That is a good summation of my attitude right now. I think. Or I could make it be.
Anyway I must go home. Watch the Alias ep my ppl taped then later I will be back for English. Don't you love hearing about my life. Perhaps I will get a job today.
