The house is coming along. We've been more or less up keeping the living room, if you ignore Daisy's treasure chest area. The kitchen now looks amazing compared to what it did, and the bedroom and bathroom should be up there by the end of the week. I'm pretty excited. Next up is to start working on the more hidden parts of the house, like closets and cabinets. And then the basement and garage. I've been disposing of a few things each trash day from the basement/garage.
Now that the kitchen is all cleaned up, I'm really enjoying cooking and baking again. I have so many things I want to make! There are a few pumpkin themed items, and I want to beak a loaf of bread, and make yummy dinners a few times a week. It is lovely.
Daisy is... hmmm. She hit the four month stage of "oh I don't know what that means, could you show me again?" Which really set back our training a bit. I had to retrain everything from sit, to leave it. I finally got her back up to speed, and past where she was for her training sessions, but outside of those she is still behind where she was. Any verbal command, or even hand signal falls on death ears and blind eyes if we aren't currently training. I'm assuming I just need to keep retraining, but it is a bit frustrating. And... I know it will most likely happen again at eight months.
Speaking of Daisy.... sort of weird thing. I was just on a walk with her a bit ago and someone in a green vehicle honked their horn and waved at me. I thought it might be Eric as Eric and Elle live near by. The car turned left up ahead, and circled back around through the save a lot parking lot to say hi to me. It was not anyone I knew. They wanted to pet my dog. I told them no. I don't mind people we randomly run into saying hi to Daisy, I figure it is good for her. But the whole making a u-turn thing was just too weird, and set my warning bells going.
