So, I am now "out of the woods" so to speak, in regards to my surgery. I have passed the 8 week mark and everything is great. 2 weeks post-op and I just had my second follow up appointment today. Every time I go to one of these things something good comes out of them, so I am actually starting to really like them. Well....I did it. I booked tickets to Australia. I'm leaving April 30th and coming back May 9th. We are both so excited we are jumping out of our skin. This morning I was taking my 6 year old son to school. As soon as we got into the car I asked him, "Are you ready to rock?" He said he was ready. I told him, "Okay, but this is Jet...they will rock your pants off....your pants will fly right out the window..." And he said, quite seriously, "Good. Then I won't have to go to school."

I may be over thinking things a bit, but I think that things have gotten weird between Scott and I....and I think it's because of the fact that I have pulled back from things and I think he is sensing that.
