Much love to Adrian and Shaun!
It just struck me that whenever I actually have anything slightly interesting to talk about, I'm too busy to update my journal with the details. Gaaa! I'm going to be extra good so God will put me in charge of Time.
Last night I headed over to Shauns to work on the Blithe Spirit poster, which technically needed to be done yesterday afternoon. Shaun has MAD photoshopping skills, and rather than 'helping him', I just kind of directed him in the details, drank his booze and just sat back trying to pick up some of his tricks and shortcuts till well past 3am.
Anyway, Shaun and Adrian have both been super great in lending me a hand and helping me with the poster. I'm really grateful since I was feeling rather worried and rushed without my editing software or any real photos to work with.
I tried dropping the final copy off with David at the theater before work today (they were supposed to be constructing walls this morning) but no one was there. So I left a note with my number on it. After I left for work I realized that everyone at the theater already has my number and I probably didn't need to post it to the public. Oh well, I'd find it funny if someone off the street DID call. Especially since the Chicago Club (a bar) is right across the street from the theater and I signed my name 'The Sexy Maid' on the note. (I play a maid in the show.. haha!) Anyway, here's the final outcome of the poster:
So what else is new? At work today I was covering a story on an exotic livestock auction here in Minot. It was fun because they let me help herd the animals into pens, which means that I got to chase after ponies and horses yelling 'HYAH!!' and waving my arms. So that pretty much made my day. That and having time to stop by the anime club for a couple hours and watch some episodes of Desert Punk, which I'm really beginning to like. It's now added to my impossibly long list of 'Animes to Buy'.
Anyway, I should go to bed. I'm exhausted!
