Whey Protein

Hi,

I  have been a long time lurker in this community and I've finally decided to come out and ask a question. I have been a runner since January, but I still have a lot of fat on my body. My legs have become more toned, but other than that, my weight has remained the same. I've been trying to lose weight with running and get into shape but so far, it hasn't shown any results. Note: I'm not anorexic, I'm pretty much just looking to have a healthy body weight and more toned body. I recently got into Whey Protein. I've been doing some research and some people say don't use for weight reductions and others say sure, go for it. I've been trying to use it in combination with my running to lose the fat on my body and build lean muscle. Is this a good idea?

My diet so far as been a shake for breakfast, a big lunch lunch and then a shake for dinner again. I eat fruit when I get hungry between meals. Is this the right way to go? I'd really appreciate your input.
