Caught in a Time Loop with the Ninth Doctor -- No, don't rescue me!
Spending myself way broke in my recently renewed Dr. Who obsession. There's so much to catch up with! Fortunately, my brother, his girlfriend and now my mom are all being sucked into the Whoness again. So at least I'm not crazy alone. I bought a Who URL with the intentions of doing a reference site. Then thought again because of all the reference sites out there. But looking around, I don't think anyone is taking the angle with it that I am. And really, it could be a project to help me relearn all I've forgotten, and learn the new stuff.
I apologize in advance for the behavior of *some* (not all, but some) of the old school fans toward the Who newbies. Cause, I've been a fan since I was 9 (am a couple months shy of 32 here now) and if you have a Nine icon, sometimes folks just assume. And I'm getting a lot of assumption that newbie=dummy. Of course, *some* newbies are not helping matters by acting like anything pre-CE is worthless crap.
I don't know. I think I'm gonna stick to Time and Chips for awhile. I have the most fun over there.
Going to Disneyland this weekend - next week. Looking forward to it but cursing the timing. I want to stay home and play Doctor. Um... well you know what I mean. Have a feeling I'll be dragging some Who books along. Travel time is good for research.
