*The scheduled Guys Night Out finally rolls around. Just to make sure Edgeworth and Phoenix hadn't forgotten about it, Larry phones them that day. Repeatedly. Finally, the three are herded together downtown after sunset just outside a parking garage

Come on, Adrian! We need to get over to the DeLite's!
Reply
*she pauses, looking a bit puzzled* The DeLite's? ...Ron DeLite? *Adrian frowns, not knowing anybody with that particular last name* Why are we going there?
Reply
It has been a long time. You're looking very well.
And yes - Ron DeLite's house, though we're heading over to pick up his wife, Desiree. Angel invited her - she tells me she's a charming woman.

*Adrian buckles her seatbelt as they head on back to the highway* Ah! I-I don't believe I really know her; that is... we haven't met. So it'd be the four of us, then? Or is someone else coming?
Reply
*she comes to the highway, slips into the carpool lane, sets the cruise control, and relaxes in her seat, setting her foot flat*
I think it's the four of us - my car can only comfortably seat four anyway, so let's hope Angel doesn't have any surprises for us.

*Adrian looks out the window, smiling* Let's hope so. ...it's been far too long since I've been out like this. I'm looking forward to it!

Good to hear it. I would have figure you would go out more, though. I was reading up on your journal and I saw you've become good friends with the young Miss von Karma?

How is their band? He invited me and Ema to a show, and I have to admit I'm curious. It's been a long time since I've seen any live music.

*at Lana's second question, she frowns* Well, they're... I suppose they're very good for the type of music they play, but I can't say it's to my personal taste. It's so... loud. But you should come! It'd be a fun occasion!

Loud, you say? It might be worth it just or the experience, then... Are you acting as the band's agent exclusively, or do you also have other clients?

And I have other clients--I work freelance, and while I spend a good amount of time working for the Gavinners, I have plenty of other time to devote to other tasks!
*Adrian looks over at Lana out of the corner of her eyes* Have you been in touch with Mr. Wright lately? It's not really a job; I couldn't ever ask him to pay me--but recently I've been trying to find places for his daughter to work on her magic and perform, actually.

I thought she was only kidding when she said she was a "working girl". Has she had opportunity to perform yet, or are you still looking?
