*The scheduled Guys Night Out finally rolls around. Just to make sure Edgeworth and Phoenix hadn't forgotten about it, Larry phones them that day. Repeatedly. Finally, the three are herded together downtown after sunset just outside a parking garage

It's about time we got this thing happening! You two really need to loosen up and have some fun. Am I going to have to show you how it's done? First we should go to all the... hey... *gets momentarily distracted by a woman in a short skirt walking down the sidewalk across the street* ......Er, what was I saying?

*has his hands stuffed in his hoodie pockets, looking disgruntled* "First we should go to all the" what, Larry?

*Edgeworth also looks somewhat disgruntled, though more obvious is that he's rolling and unrolling the sleeves of the red dress shirt he's wearing, as if he's not sure whether the evening is warm enough to warrant wearing them rolled up.* I'm not sure we should be allowing this, Wright. Are we sure we want to be following Larry?

*Raises an eyebrow and stares at Larry* You never were the leadership type.

Hey! If we were following your mistaken idea of a good time, we wouldn't even be out here now! And we GOTTA do this! Us guys don't hang out and bond often enough! I mean, I guess it was okay that Edgey went away for fifteen years and Nick stopped talking to me for one, but STILL! We have to hang out more and keep out friendship strong!

IT BEGINS: Lana picks up Adrian

*pulls up outside of Adrian's apartment complex, and checks her watch: she's right on time, as she said she'd be. She spends a moment waiting, wondering whether or not to head in: she thinks Adrian said she would meet her outside, but she is unsure*

*Adrian has been standing just inside the apartment parking lot for five minutes, and as a car pulls up, she hesitates--is that Lana? She can't quite tell from this far away; the figure in the driver's seat is just a shadowed silhouette... worried she'll look foolish, Adrian nevertheless steps out into the open, hoping that it is in fact Lana, and giving a small wave towards the figure in the car*

*is relieved to a degree when she sees Adrian coming out of the parking lot, rolling down a window and waving her over. She drops the formalities for the sake of making conversation more natural*

Come on, Adrian! We need to get over to the DeLite's!

[glass_andrews]

*Adrian brightens at finding out that it is, in fact, Lana's car, and she heads over, opening the passenger-side front door and sitting beside Lana, giving the other woman a warm smile* Lana...! It's--it's been a very long time, hasn't it!

*she pauses, looking a bit puzzled* The DeLite's? ...Ron DeLite? *Adrian frowns, not knowing anybody with that particular last name* Why are we going there?

*Only a few blocks down, Larry stops in front of a building, the booming tones of music audible inside. The building is decorated in excessive neon signs of suggestive nature.*

Here we are! Come on, let's get in before it gets too crowded!

*stares at the signs*

*He's not paying much attention, still fiddling with his sleeve. He glances up but doesn't really seem to parse the signs.* Another bar? Or would this be a club... I'm not exactly familiar with the jargon.

Quit gawking and hurry up, Nick! *grabs his shoulder and yanks him towards the entrance*

Yeah it's a club, Edgey! One of the best! I've been to a lot of them.

[miles_distant]

*They're back on the street again, and Edgeworth is still dragging Wright by the sleeve, somewhat contemptuously.* Let's just go somewhere quiet and stay there for a while. I'm not enamored of the type of music that they play at establishments like that. *He lets go and crosses his arms irritably.*

[smellslikebutz]

*is dragging Phoenix by the opposite sleeve* Did you hear what those girls were saying, Edgey? Some of the hottest ones were talking about quitting so they could go find their own true love!

*glances to the side at the buildings they're walking past and sees the Rusty Gust Saloon, and lets go of Phoenix's sleeve when Edgey releases the other* ...How about here? Nick, you need another drink.

I guess I do... I was talking too much to drink anything. But... here?

*shrugs, stepping up to the front doors and opening them up*

*Feels a note of vague familiarity as he follows Wright in, but he of the three of them has actually been drinking, and he doesn't quite recognize the place.*

*not long after the car makes its way into the downtown area, Desiree enthusiastically points out the window* Oh~! Right here! This place, we should stop here! I've been here once, it has amazing drinks!

*leans over to look out Desiree's window*

"The Adam and Steve"? Sounds... interesting.

*Adrian pauses in thought as Lana reads the name* Oh! I think I've heard of it. They're... they're supposed to make a great Mojito here, actually! To tell the truth, it's... well, it's a gay bar though, er... I guess you all probably figured that one out from the name...

If... *she coughs* W-We probably wouldn't have to worry about getting hit on by some sleazy types if we went here, then! It'd be just us four!
