He loves her laugh, too. It was music to his ears.

Mirai yawned. It was another boring class of Physics.
She looked around and saw that her classmates are all yawning and bored as well. Shougo was actually fast asleep in his seat.
She could only see Chinen being attentive, but that was a given.
She looked around once more and saw that Umika and Saaya were both busy scribbling something in their notebook. No doubt it was another S-O-S game.
Mirai yawned once more and rubbed her eyes trying to get the sleep off her.
The lesson was about heat.
'Linear Thermal Expansion' was written in the board.
"Linear Thermal Expansion of a solid is as given: The length L sub 0 of an object changes by an amount of delta L when its temperature changes by an amount delta T." Their sensei narrated.
'Basically, it means when an object is heated its length increases.' Mirai registered.
She blinked, an idea coming to her.
She pulled back and looked at the girls, smirking. The girls looked at her, interested.
"So that's why Yuto is so tall... because he's hot." Mirai said. and the girls sniggered.
After that, Mirai started making nerdy jokes that kept the girls awake for the next half of the class. Now Physics seems not so boring anymore, Mirai mused.
And finally the bell rang and the class was finally over.
Mirai arranged her things and got ready for the next class but then she abruptly stopped when someone patted her on her back and said, "'Hot', huh.. that's an interesting theorem."
Mirai felt her face heat up but she didn't turned to him. Why show her blushing face, she already knew that it was Yuto!
"I also thought of a theorem..." Yuto continued. Mirai's back at him. "You know about those planes gravitating to volcanoes because of heat?"
Yuto waited. Mirai took a deep breath and squeak a 'Yes.'

Finally Mirai's curiosity won over and she asked "What do you mean?"

-another random pair. xD i didn't want to use any of my other pair so i thought of a new one... couldn't think of anything from NEWS, or KAT-TUN, i didn't wanna use JUMP and then i thought of Yuma... but who to pair? then I remembered his sister was part of H!P so I thought someone from H!P but who? and then I looked at H!P around Yuma's age bracket and randomly selected Risako, well I found a connection with her and Nana so I just chose her...
It has been three years now, Risako mused.
She didn't feel the time move though. It was as if their two years together was longer than those three years that they were apart.
Finally she was in front of Nakayama house. She knocked and was immediately welcomed by Nana's mom.
"Risako-chan! You've come! They're upstairs." She instructed.
Risako went straight up after greeting Nakayama-san.
She turned the knob to Nana's room but the door suddenly opened and she saw Yuma.
She felt her heart pounding.
"R-risa-chan!" Yuma said, sounding surprise. Before Risa could say anything though, Yuma was pushed to the side by a bouncing Nana.
"Risa-chaaan!!!" She squealed, hugging her.
"Nana! Happy birthday!" She managed.
"Happy birthday to you, too!" Nana said. Their birthdays, that was the reason they grew close. Nana was very friendly and when she noticed that their birthdays was next to each other, she immediately chatted her up.
"Happy birthday, Risa-chan." Risako heard Yuma said and she willed the butterflies to stop fluttering.
She knew he didn't love her anymore.
"Sugiya-san is here? Happy birthday!" Another voice said, it wa Chinen.
"Sugiya-san! Belated!" and Yamada.
They also knew about them. They were there when Yuma first confessed.
"I didn't know NYC was here." Risako said.
"Of course they are! It's Yuma's favorite's Nee-san's birthday!" Nana said and I giggled.
"Well, I don't really have any choice about that." Yuma said glancing a little longer at Risako.
But he looked away when he realized. He knew she didn't love him anymore.
They had dated for a long time. They broke up. They had told themselves they moved on...
"So how are you nowadays?" Yuma asked.
Risako shrugged. "I'm fine. But I know you're going great. NYC's really popular now."
