-I don't know about other countries but here in the Philippines, sending group messages or GM on the phone is very popular. One would send love quotes or greetings to a 'group' in her phonebook. Our class president, for example, send group messages when announcing something to the class. okay, so last Monday, I checked my inbox and realized that I have over 400 messages... most of them re GM's. I cleaned it... It's just over 100 now... but some of the text quotes was interesting so I thought of making them into ficlets. :)
-This is a collection of ficlets... This is part one... Horikoshi Fandom... there would be three parts. I've finished the third, I'm doing the second one now. But I'll be posting them some other day. :D

Umika's POV
I was surprised when I opened the door.
It was Yuri-kun.
I never expected I would see him in front of my doorsteps again.
I haven't talked to him since that day.
He smiled at me, it was a sad smile.
"Umika-chan" he said my name as if we were back.
He handed me something.
I stared at it.
It was a wedding invitation.
'Chinen Yuri and Fukuda Kanon'
I didn't realize a tear fell from my eye until Yuri-kun wiped it away.
"It would have been us," He said smiling bitterly, "but you gave up on us."

Mirai's phone rang. She smiled when she saw it was Ryosuke.
"Hai, Ryo-chan?"
"Mirai-chan," he said and she could hear the smile on his voice.
"What is it? Is something wrong?"
"Nah... I was just scanning a magazine and I read something interesting."
"You called me for that? Ryo-chan, it's in the middle of the night!"
She heard him laugh.
"But it's really interesting."
"Okay... what is it?"
"Well, according to this, scientist have proven that human minds are linked with each other through neuron activities." Ryosuke read. Mirai even heard him flipping a page.
She giggled.
"What magazine are you reading?"
"That's not the point, Mirai-chan!" Ryosuke said and Mirai could already imagine his pout.
"Okay... so what's your point?"
"Well, this means that if you're thinking about someone all day with no reason at all, that person is probably thinking about you, too, in any sense." He explained.
"Okay..." Mirai said, waiting.
"So I just wanted to ask, have you been thinking about me?"

"What's this?!" Jingi shouted making Saaya jump.
Saaya looked at her boyfriend and saw him pointing at a magazine.
"Saaya! You told me you'll stop doing gravure photo shoots!" He cried.
"Why do you still do this?! You're already popular! You don't have to do these things anymore!" He said it as if what Saaya did was disgusting. She felt like she was dirty.
It hurts; so bad especially since it's coming from him.
Saaya was about to say something but she stopped herself.
She closed her eyes to compose herself and to stop the tears from falling. She tried, but she was hurting... Is that how he sees her?
She was surprised when she felt his embrace.
"I'm sorry." he whispered. "I didn't mean to hurt you... I wasn't thinking straight... Sorry."
Saaya tears fell freely now as Jingi held her close.
Love is when someone hurt you and you want to yell at them but you stop yourself because you know you'll hurt their feelings, too.

They were in their Chemistry Lab. They have been there for four hours now.
"Jeez! When will this titration end?!" Saaya said exasperatedly.
"I honestly wanna go home now..." Jingi sighed.
"And we still have School Kakumei tomorrow..." Ryosuke added.
"This is a hell week." Nozomi concluded, her usual smile absent.
"We have quizzes, reports, experiments, photo shoots, interviews and rehearsals! So many pressures from school and work! I wonder how Mirai-chan does it!" Nozomi said looking at Mirai who was concentrating on filling their burret with hydrochloric acid.
"I'm not that busy." Mirai said, not taking her eyes off her work.
"I honestly wanna quit school..." Nozomi continued.
"I mean, I wanna be with you guys but it's exhausting to focus on both school and work." She sighed.
"I completely understand." Ryosuke sighed, too.
"But your mom wants you to graduate, ne?" Jingi asked.
"Unfortunately." Nozomi said.
"Yeah, my mom, too." Ryosuke piped.
"Well, that's moms for you. I don't really understand them, it's not even compulsory to graduate high school." Saaya said.
"I wonder how I can tell mom I wanna quit school..." Nozomi trailed off.
Their group went quiet but after a while, Mirai spoke.
"Nozomi, why don't you tell your parents you're pregnant? And Ryo-chan, tell your parents you're the father." She suggested, in a serious tone cause she was concentrating on their titration.
And then they heard a crash from the other table.
"Shou! Shou! Are you okay? Kamiki-chan!" Yuto called, "Shou's out cold! He just suddenly fell!"

"There they go again..." Mirai sighed.
Umika looked at where she Mirai was looking and understood. She sighed too...
Yuto and Suzuka were once again laughing with each other. It shouldn't be an issue but the whole class knows they're both into each other. But there's never a progress.
"Look, Mirai." Umika pointed as Yuto put a strand of hair behind Suzuka's ear and 'accidentally' caressed her face.
"And the way he looks at her... It's as if she's..." Umika said.
"I know..." Mirai said.
Both of the girls sighed again.
They saw Suzuka say goodbye to Yuto.
Mirai and Umika rounded on her.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Tell us honestly, Suzu-chan... What is it with you and Yuto?" Mirai said bluntly.
Suzuka blinked a few times. "We're friends." She said as if that was the most obvious thing.
"Really? Just friends?" Umika asked.
Suzuka smiled sadly at them.
"Sometimes companionship is better than commitment. And sometimes it's better to be together than saying 'I love you.'" Suzuka said.
"So you guys do love each other!" Umika squealed.
"But we're just friends." Suzuka said and then she left.
"Umika, define 'sometimes'" Mirai asked.
"'Sometimes' as in when a balding person named 'Johnny' is involved with your life?" Umika said.
"I'm thinking the same thing. Plus, when you're studying at a school named 'Horikoshi.'" Mirai said.
"True." Umika agreed.
"We three have the same problems, don’t we?"
