It was times like these that are the best. Saaya was with her best friends, Mirai, Umika, Suzuka and Mariya. They were just hanging out, disguised of course. Suzuka was craving for an ice cream so they went inside the konbi.
They left the konbi with all of them holding an ice cream.
They went to the playground in the park and started playing. It was fun being a kid once in a while.
But then Umika’s phone rang, It was her manager asking her to go home now since she’ll have a recording tomorrow.
And as if that was the cue, Suzuka, Mariya and Mirai also received calls and messages from their managers/parents.
They said goodbye. It couldn’t really be help...
Saaya was left alone in the park. She didn’t really want to go home yet.
She looked at her watch and saw that it was exactly 12 o’clock.
“Guess it’s true.” She shrugged.
“And Mariya would be transferring schools tomorrow, too.”

For Saaya’s birthday, her mom prepared a very big party.
There was a program and everything. Everyone from school and from work was invited.
She was really happy. The venue was in a hotel. It was decorated so grandly and all of her friends were wearing gowns and tuxes.
She felt like she was a princess.
The boys from class presented a dance number as a gift while the girls one by one said wishes for her.
They ate together, they danced together, and they took so many pictures.
It was the most unforgettable birthday ever.
But then as the clock strike 12, her friends had to go home...
And it seems she was back in the real world.
That was when she noticed the teddy bear.

They all laughed as they watched the video made by Yuto.
They were in Ryosuke’s home, celebrating.
The other Hey! Say! JUMP members were there, too.
It was really nostalgic to watch their videos from their previous years. Saaya didn’t know how Yuto took hold of the CCTV videos from school but it was a good thing. So many scenes she didn’t know happened were recorded there. Yama-chan eating during Japanese, Mirai-chan actually sleeping during Math, Chii singing in Umika’s piano piece, Yuto staring at Suzuka so many times in one day... The other members actually teased them mercilessly for that. Saaya looked at Suzuka and saw that her face was still red.
Time really flies by so fast. Saaya couldn’t believe they already graduated.
There was a knock and Nako-chan’s parents came. It was already time to go home. One by one, 3D left. Saaya decided she should leave soon too since only a few of them was left there.
She looked at the wall clock and wasn’t surprise to see that it was only two minutes to twelve.

She was surprised when someone covered her eyes.
“Emo-Saaya-chan is not cute.” He whispered.
And Saaya have to smile.
“What are you doing here?” Saaya asked him.
“Mirai-chan mailed me. She said you looked sad and you were here.” He explained.
“Mirai-chan is such a worrywart.” She smiled.
“She is. And you’re an emo. What are you doing here wallowing in your misery?” He said jokingly.
“I am not!” Saaya said laughing.
“Nishiuchi?” He asked after a while.
Saaya nodded.
She was surprised when he embraced her.
“Don’t worry too much, we can visit her anytime.” He said in a soothing voice.
Saaya smiled.
“Yeah...” She agreed.

She noticed the teddy bear moving. It was one of her gifts.
She approached it, curious.
But when she was near enough, the teddy bear jumped and embrace her.
She let out a small squeak.
And then he heard him laugh.
“It is you!” Saaya pointed looking at him.
“Happy Birthday... Happy Birthday... Happy Birthday, Saaya-chan.” He sang in a little voice, moving the teddy bear as if it was the one talking.
Saaya smiled at her teddy bear. “Thank you teddy-kun.” She said as she kissed the toy.
She giggled when he pouted.
“What about me?” he said, using his real voice now.

She opened the front door, intending to go home now.
But when she went out, everything was dark.
She was about to go back inside to ask Yamada what happened but then something went off.
She looked back and saw fireworks.
All of her friends who she thought had gone home were there, holding sparklers.
And then Jingi came, holding a bouquet of flowers.
Saaya couldn’t help but beam at everyone and of course, Jingi.
He gave her the bouquet. It was white and red roses and at the middle were three tulips.
He smiled at her and said, “Happy 3rd Anniversary.”
Saaya realized then that it was already past 12 meaning it was already their anniversary.
The boys wolf-whistled and the girls all gushed at them.
Fairy tales may end at 12 o’clock. But that’s fine, because reality is waay better.
