Wow, we had an amazing thunderstorm last night around midnight, right over my house at one point. It's never like that -- the lightning is usually over the water, down the hill from me, or over east toward the Cascades, so having it right on top of us was a trip. It looks like the installation for summer may have finally succeeded in Seattle. It turned out to be nice today, and they say, although I'm not sure I believe it, that it'll be nice all week, maybe even getting up to 80 by end of weekend. Today I went down to the Danish furniture store to see if I could find anything in teak -- that used to be the standard for all Scandinavian stuff, it seemed, and yet nowadays you can't find anything at all.
