So I was reading The AV Club last night, scrolling through the tripe that is the comment board on some of their articles, when I saw the infamous Seven Words followed by "Just to inform you all that Carlin is dead." You put it so much more eloquently than I ever could have! And you made me laugh too with your final words for him. That would make Carlin smile, I think.
Honestly, I don't cry much for celebrities who die but I did cry for Carlin. I adored the Hell out of him. I mean even as a Catholic I can't help but laugh at some of his points on religion! Let's face it, only the tunnel visioned sorts have to deny that he does raise some rather amusing points. But yeah, I shall miss him greatly. He brought a lot of thought and laughter into my life... and little pink bicycle tires and 7 dirty words.
