So I survived the first night. It's difficult to get used to sleeping on a pullout couch again, even if I did spend a year and a half doing so before. Got about three hours. The dog's behaving well enough, mostly lies around and sleeps, probably misses John and Angie and Emma. I'm watching movies for the most part. Got a little writing done last night on a side-project that could lead to some more writing that I could get paid for, which would be cool.

Tim's Tip of the Day For Living With a Scorpio

Right now, you're being tested. The results of this test will have repercussions on your relationship with your Scorpio. Surprised? You didn't think he/she was actually going to tell you, did you? If you knew, you would simply be giving the results they want to see, not the real honest actions and reactions that will tell him/her everything that needs to be known. Sound unfair? Of course it does, because it is, and your Scorpio knows this too. Most Scorpios have been alerted to this fact by past (emphasis on past) lovers, or are at least self-aware enough to figure it out for themselves, but they keep on doing it. Why? Think of the Scorpion and the Frog. What was the Scorpion's answer? "It's my nature." Your Scorpio can't help it, and it is not something he/she is probably proud of. The best chance you have is to call them on it early, and make them aware that they need to stop (and believe this, they want to stop). Then, it's just a matter of honest communication (which Scorpios preach but find a hard time practicing, as communication tends to take the mystery and secrets out of everything). Nobody said a Scorpio was easy, in any sense of the word.

Peace.
