* Racist Terrorist Attacks Church: A white male coward in Charleston has attacked unarmed people at their payers in a black church, murdering nine, including the pastor and state senator. Most of the cowardly thug's victims were women. The shooter is in custody and has a history of racist violence. They are naming the library branch where one of the dead was librarian after her.
* I spent the next two days recovering.
* "A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night" was beautifully shot and eerie. I loved that it did not end as I expected. Watching it, I kept thinking how much interesting cinema we miss in this country because we are always telling the same stories over and over and never much looking outside our borders.
* Got: I am not convinced Stannis is dead. Since when has this show shrunk from a graphic beheading? It might be she delays execution in exchange for his help rescuing Sansa. Similarly, that is a really big snow drift under that wall and I'm not ruling sansa and Theon out. Melsandre is right there at Castle Black and we know that the Red Priest can bring people back and Melisandre is stronger than him so.... That said, I'm not sure I can bring myself to care any more. I have other questions, such as, can't Jaime just turn the ship around and get antidote? They are literally still in sight of shore. Does Tristayne have any on his person? Again, I'm not sue I can bring myself to care. I am too angry about them replacing Ariannes's logical plot with all this craptastic nonsense. I am too angry about the mess they made of Sansa and Stannis and Shireen. I am too angry about the loss of the Kingsmoot and the Iron Islands plot entirely, and them randomly deciding to replace the Cersei stuff with illogic and homophobia. I know I should talk about the walk of shame, but I can't, I simply can't.
