* Usually in this climate, if the sky is clear, it's warm. Not today. It was all clear skies and arctic wind. I spent a couple of hours waiting in line in it for food before going to get my shot. I simply have nothing left tonight. Today would have brilliant day for an emergency pizza, but I spent the last of my money on Hector friendly food again.
* I know Phantom of the Opera is a popular skate theme, but there were so many this season and last that I get excited every time someone picks something else. How many were there at the NHK skate in Osaka this year? Five? Six? I only watched the single skaters and I lost track. Seriously, they had back to back Phantom routines on the telecast I watched. (Yes, I know this was a couple of) weeks ago, but I'm still catching up on stuff. Seriously, we need a ten year moratorium on Phantom of the Opera and Bolero.
* Here's a hint for the English lady doing skate recap for the Canadians before the pairs final in Osaka: Commenting on how much alike the Japanese skaters look may not be a good idea. *facepalm*
