There is finger pointing at Assad and nine people have been arrested, but there's a whole lot of politics involved which means people are skeptical about nearly everything except the fact of the bombing and the tragedy of the deaths. The first victim in the UK was just back from travel in the Middle east, just like the first victim in France. In the UK, the second victim was the son of the first victim and caught it on an extended car trip. If you've just been traveling in the Middle east and have come down with pneumonia, best go to the hospital. Otherwise, don't panic.
