* Rachel Maddow does a little roundup of recent heinous things politicians have been saying/doing, on tape:

* Scott Brown is demanding Elizabeth Warren apologize to him because her looking white is offensive, unlike his staffers doing war whoops and tomahawk chops at his campaign events. After the Chief of the Cherokee Nation roundly condemned Scott Brown's racism, he finally grudgingly said the behavior of his staffers wasn't okay. He doesn't seem to have any plans to fire them though, which suggests the opposite.
* "Womanist Musings-An All White Emmys:"
http://transgriot.blogspot.com/2012/09/womanist-musings-all-white-emmys.html * Wow, today actually managed to be even worse than expected. Like, readjust my meds for the next month and hope it works awful. Admittedly, it wouldn't have been as bad if they'd let me have more than five hours of sleep, or if there had been time for me to lie still and rest for an hour until the meds finished doing their thing, but it's clearly time for an antibiotic vacation anyway. I actually had to stop to throw up, which made be slightly late for the Doctor. I still needed to change books, hit the post office, and check my box. I cut fish store for valves and legs and foraging, on the grounds that I was already close to the edge of not being able to make it back home. I dumped my gear, popped an extra rantie, pet cats, and crashed. (For some reason, my dreamscape of Evilandi's apartment always upgrades it to a high end townhouse with an internal balcony and beautiful and tasteful antiques.) The pain woke me up. I managed to get back to sleep and dreamed about being exhausted. Sigh. I woke up exhausted. It's a molasses sort of evening. I gave the cats goosh a day early in the hopes they'd crash out and give me space. Even cutting out inspection cleaning, I need to do a bunch of basic maintenance and there really aren't spoons for it. No way an I touching the new bureaucracy packet. Sitting up is about as much challenge as I can handle. On the upside, the alert and very kind receptionist at the Doctor's realized that that they were overcharging me on October's bill and got the amount cut in half. Hurray for sharp eyed and intelligence secretarial staff!
* I forgot to mention I'm down to the Lavender Frankincense Zumi. (Two bars, so I'm using the plural). The one I'm using is the paler of the two with the slightly weaker fragrance. They have different packaging, and the black bar appears stronger and is more aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise, they are pleasant to the nose and skin. If I was going to get two of any of them my sister sent, this is the one I'd want it to be.
