There are usually instructions on starting the mower on the mower itself sometimes, like a little "5X" next to the button on the front. The bar that you have to hold down is a safety feature so the mower will stop when the bar is released in the event of an emergency or so you avoid running over something with the blade running.
Next time, you'll do even better. Or, better yet, bribe one of your brothers or friends to come over and do it for you. I would if I could. You can't have as much lawn as I have. I use a riding mower and it takes me two hours to do everything....and that's before weed-eating - another one to two hours, depending on what needs it.
Congrats though. Now, go have a tall cool one...of water or gatorade.

I don't want to spook you or anything, but I wanted to ask if you would be interested in corresponding. You seem very nice, and we move in fairly similar circles and have similar interests, so I thought it might be cool to write a lot, because we have lots of cool things to write about.
