Flushed, both thumbs blistered, exhausted, but triumphant
I did it! I did it! I mowed the grass! I got the thing to start after googling to see what I did wrong. Oh, and the first thing to come up on google under "start lawn mower" is a man who got arrested for shooting his lawn mower with a rifle because the engine wouldn't start. *grins* Anyway, apparently you're supposed to push that button on the front five times, not once. And the little metal bar? You're supposed to hold it down. Now, I have done it. I mowed my whole lawn. And I smell like gasoline and sweat, and I'm having to type everything twice because my fingers are tired. My whole arms are tired. But I am so proud of myself. I mowed the grass.
